Electron beam equipment

Electron beam plants are intended for high-precision and miniature welding, dimensional processing, brazing and heat treatment of details from various substances, including reactive metals. The technique allows to regulate heat source intensity in wide range, that is necessary while local heat treatment and welding of refractory metals. The treatment process in vacuum secures reliable protection of treatment zone from environment influence. The unit provides also high quality and reliability of details joining, which couldn’t be achieved by others weld methods.

The equipment includes one or more electron beam guns with rower supplies, work chamber with internal equipment, vacuum system and automated control system.

The electronic gun with power supply (electron beam plant) is basic technological "instrument" of equipment. Electron beam plants ELA-60/1, ELA-60/7,5, ELA-90/15, ELA-90/30 with power from 1 up to 30 kw ( see « Electron beam guns ») include three-electrode thermoemission gun with magnetic adjusting, focusing and deflecting systems and power supplies with an opportunity of external control (for example, from the PC).

The construction of vacuum chamber and internal equipment is selected according to demands of customer. The equipment includes multicoordinate manipulators with external control for detail transference according to beam.

The vacuum system of adjustment is based on standard vacuum plants and can have some independent head circuits of pumping out. It is equipped by turbomolecular, cryogenic or diffusion pumps and means of vacuum measurement. Control of elements of vacuum system is carried out by microcontroller.

The automated control system is hierarchical and its top part is computer.
