Electron beam gunsElectron beam guns are intended for accelerated electrons beam production and control of its space and energetic parameters. The main areas of application are high-precision weld and miniature weld, dimensional processing and heat treatment off different materials, including reactive metals and alloys. The emissive system of gun is the three-electrode scheme (the cathode - control electrode - the anode). Such construction ensures dynamical regulating of beam current in wide range and its modulations, it is necessary while single-pass weld, smooth heat power regulating, and dimensional processing of details with various shape and cross-section. The electron-optical system of gun includes alignment magnetic systems, focusing and beam deflection systems. The visual test system allows operator to control technological weld conditions (electron beam processing) and it can be completed with a videocamera for overseeing process from the PC monitor. Electron beam guns are supplied with electron beam plants (ELA), including power supply systems. Power supplies consist of the high-voltage block for emissive system power supply. Low-voltage supply units are intended for power supply of electron-optical systems. The control by all enumerated power supply systems from external device (for example, microcontrollers or computers) is stipulated. The state-of-the-art inverter power supplies, which can change well proved ELA-50/5 and ELA-60/15, have scheme with intermediate frequency conversion that allows to miniaturize transformer rectifier units and to use modern element base.
